PETA: Wrong Meeting - A clip about dog breeders and how they use terminology similar to the KKK.
The PETA clip brings up how dog breeders are trying to create a “master race” for dogs. At first the notion of dog breeders being similar in genetic philosophy to KKK. But the PETA announcement brings up some interesting points.

First the KKK believed that there is a “Master Race” and this Master Race was superior to all other races. Similarly dog show breeders do use terminology like inferior mixed breeds.

PETA has always been known to have aggressive clips and advertisements. PETA’s public service announcements have ranged in content from violent images about dead chickens and pigs being abused to staged scenes of muggers smacking women in fur coats. The mugger in the video rips the fur off the body of the dead woman and then escapes hastily with his furry prize.

What is the point of these videos? To cause an emotional response in the viewer to change your perspective.

So why is Theo Hirsch so concerned with the environment and solar energy? Theo has long been a proponent of alternative energy, and any method of thwarting the establishment’s stranglehold on energy. Gas prices are up, heating bills are expensive by the minute…an alternative isn’t a nice to, it’s a necessity.

Solar Panel that shared all the characteristics I was looking for. Unlike ebay, alibaba.com has a different method of contact sellers and buyers. Prices are worked out via a contact method, so that leaves the door to negotiation wide open. This is especially great for individuals who made need solar panels for smaller projects.

1. Solar Universal Rechargeable Batteries - Get rid of those piles of dead AAA batteries. But unlike the picture above these batteries charge themselves. All these batteries need to do is lay out in the sun for a few hours and then the batteries are charged.

2. Hemp Jeans - They have pockets that are fitted for thin people that need pockets for electronics and small books.

3. A phone (like blackberry etc) that is equipped with solar panels - If you put it face down during lunch the solar panels on the back will face the sun and you can get a charge without plugging it into laptop or wall outlet.

4. 100% Recycled Paper Origami - This set is for beginners and it has plenty of extra paper, especially for people who want to fold the perfect swan.

5. Organic Edible Chewing Gum - This is my last and final wish for 2008. Although this piece of technology may seem unnecessary, I don’t chew gum because it’s bad for the environment. This is because it isn’t very biodegradable, gum stays on the street usually till someone steps on it or else scrapes it with a painters scraper. Also some people (myself included) have the tendency to swallow their gum after it looses its taste. The Organic Edible Chewing Gum would be delicious and would dissolve withing the stomach of humans like us or the smaller creatures like seagulls that sometimes choke on discarded chewing gum.
